Woah, this is awesome. Twisty had a post about women, rich men, and sexual satisfaction. Multitudes commented, the thread eventually produced a comment about ducks and how the genitalia of duck species have evolved dependent upon the level of forced copulation. It's fascinating.

Last night, people were talking about how marijuana is just a dried flower, and I indicated that that meant that people were smoking plant genetalia. I was told I was wrong because its only the female part of the plant.

These guys tend to be idiots, and I had enough other issues happening. Earlier in the evening, I had to step in to get them to stop harassing the other woman at the party about how much she wanted to drink. It drove me nuts when I would ask her if she wanted to drink more and someone else would answer my question. They were trying to get her not to drink "for her own good", but she drank what she wanted anyway and didn't have a hangover today.
No. Flowers contain BOTH male and female parts. At least, most of them do, if I'm remembering biology 101...it's been a really long time since I've studied plants. They should put that in their pipe and smoke it. So to speak. Heh.
I don't know if that's true. Each squash flower is either male OR female. They don't have both parts. The only fruiting plants that do are self-pollinating...
I only know this because i'm a freak'in farmer now :)
I have no idea what percentage of plants are capable of selfing. Like I said, plants aren't my thing.
